She always picks up on exactly what you need, and has an energy that makes her easy to love. We met through our boys when they were babies and experienced teething, crawling, walking, and tantrums for the first time together. Literally my ride or die, as the kids used to say. Mitch is always down. Ride our bikes to the north shore to meet all our friends for a weekend of camping? Yup. Last minute concert tickets? Mitch is down. The thing is, Mitch is also such a selfless, caring individual who always asks how I’m doing, how my family is doing, how Turnip is doing (Kevin, Mitch’s retriever, is Turnip’s oldest friend…). Aka Banana Dad. Quite possibly the only person Stellan could run into when he gets out of bed at 10pm, comes downstairs, sees Cole and is 100% unfazed, asking simply, “Why are you in my house? Are you and my dad going for a night ride?” Such is the instant bond he made with Stellan while camping together last year. Cole is a brilliant architect, photographer, musician, adventurer, and, most of all, friend. - Zach

I met Michael, as I did a lot of my adult friends, through cycling. To date, he is the ONLY person to have just shown up, on a whim and with no knowledge of what he was getting himself into, rode his bike way off course into a rainy cold October night on the north shore, alone, lost, soaked, wolves howling, and showed up back at our cabin hours after everyone else had given up, still just stoked on what he’d just experienced. Michael brings that same dedication and exuberance to everything, and is our go-to for great game nights, great meals, and great laughs. - Zach
