In July 2021, Bailey interviewed for a social media role at Renaissance Marketing Group, founded by Walker’s sister, Sydney, where Walker was also the COO at the time. Although the interview went well, Bailey and Renaissance took different paths. Two weeks later, while casually swiping on Bumble with friends, Bailey stumbled upon a familiar face—Walker, the guy from her interview. Despite hesitations, Bailey swiped right, sparking a conversation. Surprisingly, Walker didn’t recall the interview details, prompting Bailey to humorously insist on drinks as compensation. Just days later, Walker made amends by taking Bailey to Old Glory in Nashville for their first date, marking the start of their journey. They chatted for hours and realized how much they had in common. A few martinis + old-fashioneds later, the rest is history.
