We met at Whistler Park in Steamboat Springs, CO during the summer of 2022 at a church event. Sailin's friend tried to set her up with a "bald guy from church." *Bailey had a shaved head at the time* 🤣 The only problem? Bailey had a hat on, she saw another bald guy and said "nope." Sailin was quickly corrected - wrong bald guy. Once she found the right one, sparks flew (at least for Bailey). He tried talking to her, but she didn't respond... turns out Sailin was still learning english and had no idea what Bailey was saying. But Bailey was determined, and after a year of "flirting" and some divine nudging, he finally asked her out - using Google Translate.. Even though the language barrier once felt like a wall - and sometimes it still does - we've always known that our story has been a part of God's purpose from the beginning. His timing, His favor, and a lot of laughter have carried us to this next chapter. Now here we are, over two years later, still laughing, still translating, and getting ready to get married in the same little ski town it all started. ❤️
