Question

When should I RVSP?

Answer

Please feel free to RSVP as soon as you wish! The last day to submit your RVSP is June 4th, 2024. Unanswered RSVPs after this date will be marked as declined, and we will miss you celebrating with us.

Can I bring a date/+1?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, then they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, unless they were mentioned specifically on your invitation, we will not be able to accommodate them. We hope that this advance notice will allow you to make alternative arrangements, and that this will be a much deserved night off for parents!

When should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 20-30 minutes before our 5pm ceremony start time. This will give you enough time to enjoy a refreshment and find your seat, so that we are able to keep on schedule for the day.

Is it okay to take pictures/videos with phones during the ceremony?

Answer

We want everyone to be able to be fully present with us during our special moment, so we will be having an unplugged ceremony. We have hired 2 amazing photographers to capture the amazing memories for us! You are more than welcome to bring out your cameras/phones during the cocktail hour/reception.

Is there a specific hotel that I should book?

Answer

Yes! The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Barrie will be where the shuttle runs from/back to, so we recommend booking here. Other options are listed in the Accommodations section of the website.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family & friends dress up with us! We are requesting summer cocktail attire.

Will there be parking on site?

Answer

There is parking available at the venue. You can also call Canadian Designated Drivers Barrie & Area (705-794-1133) to arrange for the team of drivers to come pick up you & your vehicle to bring back to where you are staying!

Will anything be happening the night before the wedding?

Answer

We are planning to pop by a restaurant close to the hotel the night before for a couple hours - details will be shared closer to the date!
