Picnic is off for Sunday. We're going to head to Ladder 15 in center city (1528 Sansom) when they open on Sunday at noon for some apps and a drink or two and would love it if you want to join.
You can come here. We'll be posting any updated info right here in this FAQ section.
We will have buses heading from the Cambria to the Old Mill and back. The bus will leave from the Cambria at 4:00pm and return at the end of the evening -- feel free to join us on the buses whether you're headed to the after party or just back to the city. If you don't take the bus, there are a few options to get out to the Old Mill in Rose Valley. One option is to drive or use Uber/Lyft, which takes about 30-40 minutes. You can also take regional rail on the Media/Elwyn line to the Moylan-Rose Valley stop, and from there it is a twenty minute walk or very short Uber/Lyft to get to the venue. If you drive out to the Old Mill and want to take the bus back to Philly, please be aware that any cars have to be moved from the venue parking lot by 10am on Sunday.
Parking in Philly can be a headache, so much so that it inspired a reality show! There are some free parking options with no time limits in Philadelphia, but they're not near the Cambria. You can go west past 40th street or south to Washington Ave and some of the blocks will be free, but unless you have time to kill you'd probably want to take a bus or uber/lyft back towards downtown. Most of the street parking downtown is paid ($$$) and has 2 or 3 hour limits. There are many garages and lots near the Cambria, most ranging from $25-$28 per day. Some specific options within two blocks of the hotel: - 337 S. Broad Street (parking garage, $25 daily max) - 1305 Walnut Street (parking garage at the Holiday Inn, $28 for 24 hours) - 1327 Locust Street (parking garage, $28 for 24 hours) - 1309 Locust Street (surface lot, $24 daily max) - 219 S. 13th Street (surface lot, $30 for 24 hours) If you're staying at the Cambria, there's no garage but they do have a valet option for $45/night.
One leg is both the same.
Meeko is a homebody and RSVP'd no for the big day, so unless you pay him a visit you won't be seeing his smiling face.
