Patrick and Bailey were first introduced back in 2022 when they matched on the popular dating app… Tinder. However, Patrick was not quite the green flag he is today…. So they parted ways after a short time of the “talking stage”.

Fast forward to the summer of 2024. Bailey is on Snapchat and comes across a “story” a friend of hers from 4-H camp, Kallie, had posted. Bailey recognized Patrick in the picture. Bailey sent Kallie a message and said “Hey I used to talk to that guy he was sweet”, Kallie replied, “ That’s my brother and he still needs a girlfriend.” Bailey sends Patrick a message and asks him why he never said that Kallie was his sister, in true Patrick fashion he answered with “I don’t know, you never asked”. So Bailey decided to start trying to reconnect with Patrick, but Patrick just kind of kept blowing her off… So they parted ways again…

In early August 2024, Patrick took Mikey to their favorite sushi restaurant in Sand Springs. Patrick got his fortune cookie after their meal. The fortune inside read “Love will prosper in December”. He posted a picture of the fortune on Snapchat. Bailey saw the post and in true Bailey fashion replied with the goofiest thing possible. Which just so happened to be a gif of the Hunger games movie, where Katniss screams “I volunteer as tribute”. Patrick replies and says “ Oh really?”. Bailey then says, “ Yeah, take me out and find out”. Patrick sets the date up for that weekend, he then gets unexpectedly sent to Iowa on a job…

After Patrick gets called out on a job he tells Bailey he needs to reschedule for the following week. In the meantime Bailey started hanging out with someone else and was starting to blow Patrick off. When Patrick got back from Iowa he was being persistent about the date Bailey had agreed to. Bailey felt bad for telling him she would go out with him and then trying to blow him off. So she decided he at least deserved a first date…

After Bailey agreed to the date they picked a place to meet. They met at the Mexican restaurant in Stroud. When Patrick first got out of the truck Bailey thought, “Oh my word who’s papa is this”. Patrick’s first thought was something along the lines of the Trace Adkins song Honky Tonk Badonkadonk. They ended up sitting at the Mexican restaurant talking until AFTER they had closed. They then went and awkwardly stood in the parking lot talking until Bailey suggested they go drive around. They then played the lovely game of left, right, or center. On all the backroad intersections they came to. When their night finally came to an end around 3:30 a.m. they had covered over 100 miles of dirt road. Ever since that night they both knew they had found their person.
