Noah and Bailey first met on March 12, 2022, at Lake Nacimiento. A moment in time—nothing more. Fast forward to late summer. Bailey and her friends crashed at Noah's apartment in Paso Robles (one of her friends was dating his roommate). Noah hung out with the girls and even joined in on face prep for a concert. Again, nothing developed out of it, but they became friends. Then came January 2023. Bailey's friend Mel sent her a text: "Noah Sheetz is single!" Noah found his way into Bailey's Instagram messages, a few were exchanged here and there. Then on February 25th, at Beer Fest, Bailey spotted him. She sent a text (that's saved) to one of her friends: "I just saw Noah Sheetz and literally sprinted to him!" And she did—through the packed convention center at Madonna Inn. Noah was moving through the crowd, a slice of pizza in each hand, locked in on his mission for a drink. He asked for her group of friends to join him at Bulls, but that plan didn't play out. Still, they kept eyes on each other the rest of the night. Of course, Noah's roommates got wind of the encounter, thanks to their friends, and that sparked the beginning... On March 24, 2023, their friend groups found each other at Barrel House in Templeton, for a Morgan Wade concert. Noah’s roommates did a lot of work to get them talking—probably because they were both nervous—that night, Noah asked Bailey on a date for a beach day the following day. Their first four dates were at the beach. The first one, seven hours long. No food, no drinks—just them, sitting on the beach in Shell. *Bailey takes over narrating* By the end of that first month, I told friends: "I think I got myself a gem." And sure enough, six months in, over dinner, Noah asked: "How soon is it acceptable for us to get engaged?" July 13th, 2024 he asked me to marry him and I said YES!
