If you have some extra time in Chattanooga, please take advantage of what the lovely city and surrounding areas have to offer. Below are some of our favorites, ordered from distance from downtown.

Restaurants, bakeries, gardens, an art museum, and galleries are all packed into this little neighborhood. It's also right next to the famed Walnut Street Bridge.

Bluff View Art District

Erected in 1891, the Walnut St. Bridge is one of the world's longest pedestrian bridge. It connects downtown Chattanooga to the north shore. It is a favorite of residents and visitors alike. Now dog friendly!

Walnut Street Bridge

They have birds, butterflies, and of course, tons of marine exhibits. A must see! If you plan to go, you are strongly encouraged to make reservations in advance, as capacity is currently reduced.

Chattanooga Aquarium

This is Matt's favorite coffee shop in Chattanooga. He recommends a pour over with the roast of the day. Bailey loves their golden lattes -- and they always get a pastry to share :)
