Our love story starts as friends from Clear Springs High School in League City, Texas. Marcus and I were lucky enough to find each other at a young age and grow alongside each other ever since. After high school graduation, we did long-distance for a few years until Marcus found his way to the greatest university on Earth. We were able to continue to grow our relationship in College Station at Texas A&M University. After graduation, we went back to the sad days of long-distance as Marcus started his career in Fort Worth and I continued my education at Texas A&M. Fast forward to Spring 2021, Marcus and I are a mere week away from moving to Castle Rock, Colorado to pursue bigger dreams and careers. The Friday before our move I was COMPLETELY surprised as my girls' day in Houston turned into the perfect proposal day! In the afternoon, my best friend, our moms, and I went to walk around the Houston Arboretum. We were walking along a path when my future fiancé (who was supposed to be in Fort Worth at the time) stepped around the corner and completely surprised me! He proposed with sweet words and laughs and we got to end the day celebrating with champagne, photos, and a nice dinner with close family and friends! We CANNOT wait to continue to grow our love story with a brand new chapter starting OCTOBER 22, 2022!!
