Semi-formal! This is a backyard wedding in the Fall, so ladies keep in mind there is grass for those of you who want to wear heels! California is extremely hit or miss with weather around that time. I advise to keep checking the weather and definitely bring a jacket in your car in case the night gets cold!
The wedding is in my dad's backyard and it is definitely confusing on how to get there considering google maps doesn't really register my dad's address as an address! When in Orcutt, coming from the Clark exit of the freeway, you will turn left onto Kenneth Avenue, and you will take another left onto Ken Avenue. Follow that road until you meet a fork in the road, you will turn right by the mailbox, you will follow that road down the hill and you will turn left onto the first real road not driveway. The road is called Deer Hollow, keep going down that road and then you will reach another fork in the road where you can either go up a hill or go straight onto another road, go straight onto the road and you will be adjacent to the baseball field. Keep going and then you will reach a road with 2 lion head statues at the front of it, follow that road down and the venue is the house on the right.
There will be, but we are asking that if you can, if you could please carpool because our parking is going to fill up fast.
Please be at the venue no later than 3:15 p.m. We will be starting promptly at 3:30 and would like everyone to find seats before then!
If your child is invited their name is listed. We kindly ask that parents be mindful of children's noise levels and to take them out if the little ones get upset. Please be mindful that alcohol will be flowing at the party.
Our wedding will be intimate to enjoy with our loved ones, we are not extending +1s at this time. If your partner is invited their name is included on your formal invitation.
We've hired a photographer to capture our day and will be asking for a fully unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from all electronics until cocktail hour.
