No, ubers and Lyft are not readily available on the island. We highly recommend renting a car to get to the various events around the island.
Villas are often more reasonably priced than hotels. Turtle Point Villas and Tennis Club Villas are closest to the reception site. Consider sharing a villa or home with friends. The Sanctuary is mid-island and a luxury 5 star resort. The Andell Inn is just off the island at Freshfields Village and a Marriott-owned property. When renting through the Kiawah Island Resort link, you are given resort privileges for discounted golf and dining and all pool amenity access. Akers Ellis, Sweetgrass, ESPM, VRBO and AirBnB all have links to wonderful homes and villas. Please reach out if you need direction. East Beach area is a good central location for our events. Vanderhorst is all homes, while East Beach and West Beach have more villas/condos. You will pay a premium for ocean front or marsh front views.
