Attire for The Big Day?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal to formal. But come as comfortable as you wish since we want you to have fun! Just NO WHITE! What matters to us most is your attendance, not what you're wearing.

What will the reception be like?

Answer

We are not having a formal sit-down reception. There will be a few dinner tables and bar tables out to sit/stand. We will have a dance area, appetizers, and food trucks for the evening. You will be able to eat as much or as little and party as much as you want!

Will it be open bar?

Answer

YES! We will be providing all of the alcohol for there to be an open bar!

Is it Indoor or Outdoor?

Answer

Both! The venue has an indoor and outdoor area. The ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be both indoor and outdoor (again weather permitting).

Is the ceremony at the same location as the reception?

Answer

Yes! We chose a venue with enough space to hold the ceremony and reception to limit travel. The reception will begin right after the ceremony.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

San Diego winters are pretty mild. It is usually in the 50-60s Fahrenheit with low humidity and almost no rain. We will be close to the ocean so there will be an ocean breeze! If you get cold easy, we would say to bring a jacket.

Parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a parking lot at the venue, but we are encouraging people to Uber/Lyft, carpool, or walk (depending on proximity of your hotel to the venue) to the event. There could be limited parking depending on what other events are going on in the area, but most importantly, we do not want anyone to drive under the influence.
