We both attended Utah State University, but life didn’t bring us together as a couple until a few years later. In a twist of fate, we reconnected at a rock concert in Sacramento, and that night became unforgettable. We laughed, sang, and had the best time together, but at the end of the show, Kyler had to head back to Las Vegas, where he was living at the time. Despite the distance, we decided to give long-distance a try. What followed was an incredible year filled with plane rides, exciting vacations, and countless adventures. Though it wasn’t always easy, that year became one of the most fun and special times in our lives. After a year of distance, we started dreaming about our future together. When Kyler found out he’d be moving to Texas, it felt like the perfect opportunity to close the gap and take the next step in our relationship. The past two years in Texas have been incredible as we’ve built a life together with our dog, Lylla. We love discovering new restaurants, watching Chiefs games, and tackling house projects as a team. On December 25, 2024, Kyler proposed in the most meaningful place—my grandpa’s cabin in Truckee, California. This cabin holds a special place in my heart, as it’s also where my parents got engaged in 1993. It was a magical white Christmas, surrounded by love and history, and it made the moment even more unforgettable. Now, we’re overjoyed to be planning our wedding in Nashville, Tennessee! We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with all the people who mean the most to us.
