The Future Mr. & Mrs. Kelley

Kody and I initially met at the rodeo in 2018 but became close when one of my friends had invited me to lunch and didn’t tell me Kody and his best friend were also coming to eat with us. We were essentially set up but it turned out to be the best lunch date. After that we started to have lunches together everyday for a few months of at school and Kody finally asked if he could take me on a fishing date. At Whitehorse Lake he asked me to be his girlfriend and we spent every moment together we could for the last 5 years from then on. From camping trips on the Kaibab, to trips to the North Rim, shed hunting and hunting and fishing any chance we could. On July 2nd, 2023 we hiked to the top of Kendrick mountain at 3 am and at 10,425 feet Kody asked me to marry him. He had his friend carry a shed in his backpack and place it in the middle of the helicopter pad at the top of Kendrick Mountain that he carved “Will you marry me?” Into the shed. We are so excited for this next step together and to continue to honor God every step of the way!
