Our lives, since the very first day of meeting each other have been centered around family and adventure. In the beginning of our relationship we took a road trip with our two oldest boys to Texas, and during so we ran into the beautiful state of Utah, which was full of red rocks and desert flowers that bloom at night when no one is out to see. The sage bush is rough and ugly, but is strong and up close it is full of texture and colors that change and sparkle with every angle of the sun. The trees in the desert twist and turn toward the sky, with branches going off in multiple directions but connecting together in some way or another. There is rain, and thunder, and lightning traveling across the sands making its way to each desert occupant, and flooding The Narrows, leaving the walls stained and smooth. The harsh weather batters the red rock cliffs, eroding them over time but exposing their inner story of their strength and elegance. The silence is marvelous. It is felt and not heard. It is so strong that no one will ever dare break it, but the coyotes who howl through the night. It is open and wild. We found beauty and peace in this open and empty place filled with gorgeous skies, day and night, and wondrous views in every corner, which is why we have made it our chosen place for our destination wedding. We love the idea of being surrounded by those who have been there to see our rough sides, our battered sides, our strong sides and our smooth sides for our most treasured moment when our family bonds together to be one. Our Day is so special to us, and it is our honor to have you there to share it with us.
