15 & 16; that’s how old we were when we met 10 years ago. We met at Salem Elementary during a youth basketball game where Bailey kept the clock and Jared kept the book. We laughed the entire game and walked away as friends with each others snapchats (so gen z). While that is when we met, we lost contact for 2 years until March of 2018 when we decided we liked each other more than friends. We went to Bailey’s prom, April 22, 2018, and that night made our relationship “official”. Since that day, 7 years ago, we have been the best of friends. All we have ever wanted to do was live life together. Whether it’s traveling, concerts, events, or even laying on the couch watching movies while Jared inhales his popcorn, there was not a single moment we wanted to be without one another. Bailey told the girls at lunch 3 weeks into dating that she was going to marry Jared; and after 6 years, 6 months, 2 weeks, and 2 days of Bailey pestering Jared, he finally proposed. It’s been a rollercoaster ever since of wedding planning, house planning, work, and life but we would not trade it for the world. We cannot wait to celebrate our love and future with all of you.
