Maid of Honor
Bailey and Paula met attending school in Philadelphia where they pledged the same sorority. Bailey left after the semester but Paula never could get rid of her. After nearly ten years of friendship, they finally live within 200 miles of each other. They're favorite activities during visits include laying on the couch either watching Great British Bake Off or napping, scream-singing along to Hercules in the car, and eating chips. Keep an eye out for Paula on the dance floor, she's the wedding's designated hype person and will be personally offended if you (yes, you) don't dance with her.
Best Man
More than anyone, Julian Weinstein is the reason that Jared attended Full Sail University in Orlando, FL for his film degree, and as such, he is largely responsible for the trajectory of Jared’s entire adult life. Julian is the one who turned Jared onto rock-climbing, cinematography as a job, and fine cigars (only in Florida, though--what’s with the air down there and wanting to smoke a cigar?). Julian and Jared have a weird mind-meld thing going on with esoteric pop culture references, and have done a lot of cool stuff together, like watch a space shuttle launch *at night*, drive from Orlando to Maine in only 27 hours (yikes), and make an ill-fated but far from unexciting move to Los Angeles
Bridesmaid
Hillary and Bailey have been friends since junior high, although they've known each other most of their lives. When Bailey moved away from Indiana, Hillary started the tradition of sending a notebook back and forth that they would write letters to each other in--a tradition that continues today (although Bailey is admittedly notorious for keeping the notebook for months or years at a time before sending it off). Hillary is one of the most thoughtful, considerate people and is truly a ray of sunshine!
Groomsman
In one of 1997’s absolute best two-for-one deals, Jared met Carl at the same time he befriended Carl’s younger but taller brother Sean (who would surely be on this list too if not for his being a possession of the U.S. Navy). At various times during Jared’s life, Carl has acted as an advice-dispensing sage, late-night commiserater, and critical video game teammate. He is responsible for many of the Jared’s better sensibilities, which leached out of Carl and into him via osmosis during that horrible, gruesome, painful phase of his life, “adolescence”.
Bridesmaid
Bailey knew of Alyssa before she and Jared met--she would sweep through the retail store where Bailey worked in college like a beautiful, lovely, kind breeze. Everyone loved when Alyssa came through! When Bailey realized that Jared was Alyssa's older brother, she was elated to get a new friend and, now, a sister.
Groomsman
Jared became close friends with Michael during a low point in his life, when he had just moved back home from Los Angeles in disgrace (first time, not second). Michael’s friendship was and is like a soothing balm. The dude’s just solid all around. A very fine choice for new music to check out, he is also unmatched in the art of chilling (and it is an art).
Bridesmaid
Eileen and Bailey met in 2010 doing Annie Get Your Gun at a theater in the Portland area. For a period of time in college, Bailey and Eileen did show after show after show together. Since Eileen didn't have a car or a place off of her home on Peaks Island, they just spent all hours together. During this time, Bailey and Eileen explored their love of Tumblr, A Very Potter Musical, and Friends. They miss that time. Fast forward nearly ten years and while Eileen insists on residing in New York, she and Bailey remain lifelong friends.

Had they been born in the same time and place, Jared and Christian surely would have been fast friends from childhood on, gigantic nerds that they are. As it is, they met five and a half years ago, while Christian was still in high school, before college and the start of his (nerdy, of course) career. Jared looks forward to having such a swell-as-heck guy as his brother-in-law
Bridesmaid
Bailey met Steph the summer she moved to Maine nearly 10 years ago. They quickly bonded over their mutual connection to the Hoosier state where Steph ultimately moved to permanently, but their friendship has spanned the miles between Indiana and Maine! After meeting, they were both cast in West Side Story and spent the summer performing, going to Sebago Lake, eating lots of burgers at SBC, and watching many, many episodes of Gilmore Girls. In 2016, Bailey was Steph's Maid of Honor and is delighted to have her celebrate the day.
Groomsman
Chris is Jared’s oldest friend (chronologically, not biologically). They bonded over Power Rangers, Nintendo, and their shared (and very sophisticated) sense of humor. One time, Chris made Jared laugh so hard that he couldn't breathe, and oxygen stopped reaching his brain for a long time. Too long, probably. Despite seeing each other only very rarely after the eighth grade, when Chris moved to Virginia, they maintain a considerable feels-like-no-time-has-passed vibe.
Bridesman
David and Bailey met when he was an exchange student at Floyd Central in 2007, their junior year of high school. They played the French horn together in orchestra and David played in the pit for the theater productions that year while Bailey performed. In the many carpools between school and home, Bailey forced him to listen to a lot (like, a LOT) of musical theater and a love of that music is something they share still. David has visited Bailey from all over the world until she (finally) made it to his home in Germany earlier this year. She's incredibly grateful for his friendship and frequent visits.

Jared has known Charles since he was nine. He knew Charles during his “edgy years”, god bless him. More than anyone else, Charles is like a younger brother to Jared--one who is weird as hell (in the best possible way), always looking for new experiences, and never without an interesting perspective. Mention Charles to Jared’s mother and she will undoubtedly relay the following fun fact: he was born a day earlier than Jared’s sister Alyssa, and in the same hospital--mere hours and yards apart!
