What do I wear?

Answer

Wear whatever makes you feel your best, seriously, there is no dress code! It is summer in Ohio, which means it will probably be hot, so dress for comfort and do not overthink it. This is not a fashion show… unless you want it to be. Come as you are, and come ready to celebrate!

Where do I park?

Answer

Let’s keep it considerate, folks! There are two driveways attached to the house, and these spots will be reserved for anyone who may not be able to walk long distances. We will mark any extra parking spots with signs or balloons to make them easy to find. We have also arranged for a large yard down the street to be used for parking if needed, and a few people will be making trips back and forth in golf carts so no one has to walk far. And please, for the love of all that is holy, do not block anyone’s driveway unless it is clearly marked for party parking. Let’s keep the neighbors happy and the good vibes flowing!

Should I eat before hand?

We are going all in on the sweet stuff, with an assortment of treats to satisfy that sweet tooth we all secretly (or not so secretly) have! So unless your dream dinner is a plate full of cookies and cupcakes (no judgment if it is), we would suggest grabbing a bite before or after the party. But hey, you do you, I already had my big day of bossing people around!

Can So-and-so come?

Can you bring so and so? Absolutely, bring that plus one! This is not your typical wedding reception, so there are no stuffy rules or guest list limits. Whether it is your partner, your kid, your cousin, or your bestie, they are welcome to join the fun. We will even do our best to make some charming small talk with them. No guarantees on how smooth it will be, but we will try!

Are we talking air-conditioned?

Are we talkin’ air conditioning? You bet! This whole shindig is happening at the Lockwood’s home, and trust us, they have got all the comfort zones covered. For our fragile folk (no shame!), there is plenty of cool indoor A/C. Feeling a little adventurous? Chill on the covered, fan cooled deck. And for the bold and brave, there is a whole yard to explore, lounge, or dominate in yard games. Choose your vibe, we support all energy levels!

Wait, I don't get to see their wedding attire?

Answer

No worries—we’ve got you covered! We spent a pretty penny on our outfits and you better believe we’re wearing them again. The newlyweds will be all dressed up in the wedding dress and suit, so you’ll still get the full experience (and the photo ops) without sitting through the ceremony. Win-win!

Hey, we get it, chatting is fun... until it is not. For our lovely introverts (and social battery savers), do not worry, we have got your back. There will be yard games and fun photo displays scattered around, perfect for sneaking off and dodging small talk that is not your vibe. No judgment, your peace is our priority!
