Things To Do

We are excited to share some of our recommendations and what the cool kids do when they are in Dayton! There are also many places to eat, drink, and play games the night before such as OnPar, Pins Mechanical, or LevelUp Pinball Bar!

Dayton Vintage Dance

1400 East 5th Street, Dayton, OH 45402

Learn some new moves before the wedding! This organization hosts weekly Friday night social dances for $5/person. We love taking dance classes together and recommend everyone try it out!

2nd Street Market

600 East 2nd Street, Dayton, OH 45402

A place for local vendors to sell products from sweets to candles and jewelry, much like a farmers market! Usually on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning-afternoon, but check Facebook or Dayton Local's website for the updated times!

National Museum of the US Air Force

1100 Spaatz Street, Dayton, OH 45433

A free museum with planes throughout US history! We haven't visited yet, but it has been recommended to us several times!

Boonshoft Museum of Discovery

2600 Deweese Parkway, Dayton, OH 45414

For the kids or kids at heart, this is a fun discovery museum of the science and even has a mini zoo inside with otters, snakes, vultures, foxes, and more!

Restaurants

Some of our favorite places to eat in the area: Pizza: Cousin Vinny’s or Marion’s Breakfast/brunch: Blueberry Cafe Quick: Bourbon Street Cafe (best bourbon chicken around!) Coffee/snacky lunch: Socialite Cafe (little pricey but worth it!) Additionally visit the Oregon District in downtown for the best pubs!
