Fate has a funny way of bringing two people together. On January 28th, 2024, as Jacob and Bailey sat in the last booth at Penelope's Cafe, their bond was slowly starting to form. This bond was swiftly put on hold after Bailey accidentally dodged a good bye kiss from Jacob. This, of course, did not bode well for either of them. Shortly after the brunch date, Jacob confessed that he did not see a "forever kind of connection". As crushed as Bailey was, she respected his decision. A couple days later, Jacob was toying with a nagging feeling that he might have jumped the gun a little too quick. Bailey had also been wondering if there was any hope in the dating world. She reached out to the universe to give her a sign to not lose hope. At 4am, four days after the date, Bailey woke up to a text from none other then Jacob. He had reached out to apologize for cutting things short and asked if she would be willing to go on a second "first" date. This was just what Bailey was looking for. A second chance. On this second "first" date, Bailey and Jacob went to Sun Valley Lane to do some bowling. Unfortunately, this happened to be at the same time as the Sun Valley Lane's yearly bowling tournament. Jacob and Bailey decided to play some mini golf instead. After playing a round of mini golf, Bailey and Jacob sat down at the bar and ordered a drink. Bailey confessed to Jacob that she loves to "people watch". This is when Jacob knew he made the right choice to ask her out again because he too enjoyed people watching. And the rest was history....... not really, but after that date, Bailey and Jacob began the beautiful journey of life. They became each others best friends and biggest supporters. They can not wait to celebrate their special day with all of you!
