We are only able to accommodate guest formally invited on your wedding invitation. Although we would love to offer a plus one to all of our guest, we have a strict guest list to meet our venue capacity restriction. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
We kindly ask that our wedding remain an intimate celebration. While we absolutely adore your little ones, attendance is limited to children within our immediate family & wedding party. We hope you understand and appreciate your help in keeping our day small and special.
We’re going for a semi-formal, dressy look for our big day. Think slacks with a nice button-up shirt, or a cocktail dress and heels. We kindly ask that guests avoid casual attire like jeans & the color white (reserved for the bride). We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and celebrating with us!
We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the Ceremony. We have a professional photographer (Kara) to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

We will have a bar at the venue with wine and beer available for guests to enjoy. Please note that outside drinks are not allowed.
The ceremony will start at 7 p.m. Please arrive 30-15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled. The ceremony will be short and sweet as the couple will just be reciting their vows.
Our ceremony & reception will be held indoors! There is an outside terrace available for guest to use.
(PlEASE NOTE that there are venues across the clubhouse and that’s where the wedding will be held.) Type in on google maps: Carter Plantation Golf Course. It should lead you straight to your destination. The marriage will be held at the building ACROSS from the golf club in the venues on the corner between Carter Trace and BlackBerry Walk. For those who need directions: Find the traffic light at the intersection of Highway 42 and Highway 443 in the center of Springfield. Proceed straight through the red light (if traveling from I-12, this is straight; if coming from the south, this is a left turn) onto LA-42 West. Go approximately two blocks and turn right onto State Road 1038, also known as Carter Cemetery Road. Look for the First Baptist Church at this intersection & then travel about 1.5 miles on Carter Cemetery Road to reach the entrance. Once you reach the entrance keep traveling straight you will make no left or right turns until you reach the Club house & the venues will be right across!
