Our favorite local coffee shop, and where we often often end the workday. Their seasonal drinks are especially good! If you need to pick up a couple grocery items or a quick bite to eat, Kelly's Market is a couple of doors down.
A great breakfast or lunch spot. Also has pastries if you want to pop in for something sweet.
Delicious little French restaurant right in the heart of downtown Decatur. Open for lunch and dinner, and also carries pastries.
We often begin or end a night at Victory! The sandwiches are small, so we recommend ordering two (the Beeter and the Hambo are our faves). And yes, the 'world famous' Whiskey Coke Slushie is as good as it sounds. We've listed the Decatur location here, but if you're staying closer to the Trolley Barn we recommend the Inman Park location (just steps away from the Beltline).
One of our favorite spots in downtown Decatur. Great food and the best beer selection in town. We're here all the time! Bailey recommends the chicken pot pie :)
Another beloved Decatur spot. Great beer and pizza!
One of Bailey's favorite local bookstores. While they're primarily a children's bookstore, they have a great selection for adults, too. Other local bookstore recs: Charis Books (a short walk away near Agnes Scott College) and A Capella Books (near the Wrecking Bar, where our Welcome Party will be).
There's nothing better than taking a couple hours to hike or kayak on the Chattahoochee River. Hayes grew up near the river and knows these trails like the back of his hand. If you've got time, we recommend hiking the East Palisades trail.
