How do I get to Utopia River Retreat?
Answer
Getting to Utopia River Retreat: You can use Google Maps or Apple Maps for directions to Utopia River Retreat, but just in case, we’ve included written directions below. Save these for backup in case your GPS acts up! If you're coming from our wedding ceremony in Uvalde, you'll head to Utopia via Sabinal. Here's how to get to the venue from Sabinal: Drive through Utopia (you’ll pass the Church of Christ on your right). Continue about 1.5 miles through town. Turn left on River View Dr., right after the 5 Points Market gas station and across from the Post Office and First State Bank. The road will curve right—keep going until you see Mini Storages on the right. Turn left onto PR 3850 at our sign. Follow PR 3850 for less than half a mile until you reach two rock pillars. The road changes from blacktop to caliche—go through the pillars, and the office is immediately on your right. Missed the turn? If you pass River View Dr., turn left between the Senior Citizens building and Utopia Medical Clinic. That road dead-ends; turn left, then an immediate right onto the road to the Retreat.

Do I need to attend both the ceremony and the reception?

We’d love to celebrate with you at both! But we completely understand if attending the reception in Utopia isn't possible for you. Please RSVP accordingly so we can plan accurately.

How do I RSVP for the ceremony and/or reception?
Answer
When you RSVP, you’ll have the option to select whether you’ll attend the ceremony, the reception, or both. This helps us get an accurate headcount, especially for the reception dinner.

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?
Answer
There will be a little time between events for the drive and a short break. Uvalde and Utopia both have small-town charm if you’d like to stop and explore before heading to the reception.

Can I bring a guest?

If your invitation included a plus one, please include them in your RSVP. Space is limited, so we ask that guests only bring someone if they were included on the invite.

Semi-formal attire! Our ceremony is in a church and the reception will be at a beautiful barn venue with indoor and outdoor spaces.
