Is there a dress code?

Answer

The preferred dress code is cocktail attire: knee to ankle length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and suits. Spring colors are encouraged! Please no jeans or casual wear.

Is the event outdoors or indoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. There is an outdoor patio that will be open to guests during cocktail hour and reception. Guests can store their outerwear in the Coat Room upon arrival.

Due to the nature of our event, we ask that only guests specified on the invitations attend.

When should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Gates open at 3:50 pm. Guests should be seated by 4:20 pm.

How do I get to venue?

Answer

Darby House is on a gated property. When you arrive at the gates, the gate attendant will direct you straight back on the property for about a mile. Follow signs for Darby House. You will see a sign for guest parking for the gravel parking lot on your left, and Darby House will be on your right. Guests can be dropped off in the loop in front of the building. Handicap parking is in the employee parking area next to the building.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is plenty of parking. Please note that cars should not be left overnight. Handicap parking is in the employee parking area next to the building.

Can I Uber to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! Ubers commonly travel out to Darby House. When ordering your rides at the end of the night, be mindful that it can sometimes take a little bit longer for Ubers to arrive compared to in the city.
