Driving

For guests driving from the Greater Charlotte area, Gatlinburg is approximately a 4 to 4.5 hour drive, depending on traffic and your exact starting point. The route offers beautiful mountain scenery as you approach the Smokies, making for a scenic and enjoyable road trip.

Flight

Airport

For guests flying in, we recommend McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Knoxville, about a one-hour drive from Gatlinburg. Rental cars are available at the airport and are the easiest way to get around. Other options include Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) and Tri-Cities Regional Airport (TRI), both about two hours away.
