David and I met on FarmersOnly.com..... haha JK!!! We met in David's mom's biology class sophomore year of high school in Las Vegas, NV. We were lab partners and quickly became best friends. David was super shy and quiet, and I was super goofy and chatty. From a young age, we both knew we wanted to marry someone who loved the Lord. We fell in love because of our friendship and passion for Christ. We have been together ever since!
After college finals week, our friends planned a surprise 21st birthday party for me in Dallas, TX. We had such a fun weekend with everyone, especially since Covid-19 hit and we were quarantined for the past month and a half! Once the weekend was over, David and I drove down to my parent’s home in ATX so we could go to the winery with my family that afternoon. When we got to Austin, my parents were acting like they were celebrating my 21st birthday at the winery. When we arrived, David was super cute and nervous. He said, “let’s go look at the lake Bailey.” I knew it was about to go down. We walked over to a stairwell that led to a terrace on the lake. It was just the two of us, and he handed me a letter. We were both in tears reading it together and remembering our prayers for this moment. Once I finished reading, David got down on one knee and asked me "will you be my wife"… my answer? YES! YES! YES! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Georgetown!
