These are our favorite wings downtown. Also (Josh) Allentown is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Buffalo, so many cute shops and bars. **BUT BACK TO THE WINGS.** Fat. Juicy. We recommend ordering them medium and crispy. Do not ask for them "Buffalo style." That is redundant here. A short uber/lyft ride from the Hyatt Regency Hotel/Statler.
The Buffalo AKG Art Museum (formerly the Albright Knox) is a great way to spend the afternoon! Located on Elmwood Ave, it's also a great place to shop, grab a drink, and EAT WINGS (who guessed it). After the art and shopping, stop by Forty Thieves and get wings Murph's style. Thank me later. A short uber/lyft ride from the Hyatt Regency Hotel/Statler.
Wait, you're staying in the Southtowns?? I love that for you!! Shameless plug to check out my bestie's restaurant if you are looking for DELICIOUS BBQ. Also, the perfect stop if you're planning on driving by the new Bill's stadium while you're in town. About a 15 minute drive from the Hyatt Regency Hotel/Statler.
Another Southtown's stop, the wings are GREAT and East Aurora is SO CUTE, great shopping and small town vibes, my favorite stops here are: 42 North, Blue Eyed Baker, Rosie's Ice Cream and Taste Bistro and Coffee Bar. This is about a 25 minute drive (but one that is 100% worth it) from the Hyatt Regency Hotel/Statler.
Okay okay yes I know it's winter. But if you've never witnessed Niagara Falls, this is your opportunity to see one of the Seven Wonders of the World! I'd recommend taking 15 minute trip to Lewiston from here and eating at Griffon Gastropub, it's on the water and you can wave to Canada from there. This is about a 25 minute trip from the Hyatt Regency hotel/Statler.
