From a very young age Bailey and Caleb came to know one another through serving at their local church. Over the years, they exchanged passing glances, polite greetings, and more often than not, awkward glances and slight a turn of the head. Bailey befriended Caleb's younger siblings, drawing her closer to the Dixon family. As they grew up, they attended youth retreats and summer camps together. Leading them to reuniting with one another many years down the line, at a summer camp called New Frontiers. At the camp, through mutual friends, Bailey and Caleb began to befriend one another, maturing past awkward glances. Instead they exchanged greetings with bright eyes and the kind of wildness you only experience in your teenage years. Over the months that followed, Caleb and Bailey began to work together, forging the same friend groups, attending the same concerts, and eventually began to spend time together talking about their dreams and what they could change about the world around them. Caleb began to admire Bailey's passion for those she loved. She made every room feel bright. Her bubbly personality, and kind spirit leant themselves to whomever needed them in the moment. She made everyone, especially Caleb himself, feel overwhelmingly heard, seen, and deeply known. Bailey was drawn to Caleb's adventurous spirit. She admired the way he felt drawn to the ends of the earth with no fear. She admired the impunity he boldly carried from being a nomadic spirit. His rare characteristics of a determination for beauty, passion, and a life worth remembering. Life lived large was a foreign concept to Bailey, and the fire in Caleb's eyes began to light something inside of her own. After months of laughing and living, they began dating. After months (many months) of dating, they are now engaged. The road was difficult, at times bumpy and broken. But beauty abounded and God's grace abounded even more. Their story is one for the ages. Caleb and Bailey (in full Caleb and Bailey style) plan to start their summer by eloping in the mountains together, and end the summer by celebrating with all their friends and family. They are thankful for you, their friends and their family. They are thankful for the life you have spoken over them. Thankful for the tears you've shed with them, the laughs you have so freely given, and the joy and beauty you bring to their lives. They are excited to announce their reception date will be August 17th, 2024 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. They hope your tears, laughter, joy and beauty will join them in their day of celebration.
