Bailey and Caden's story started the summer before their senior year at Auburn University. Though Bailey’s from Atlanta and Caden’s from Oklahoma, God planned their paths to cross at just the right time. Their very first date was in the summer of 2024, right in the middle of the NCAA tournament, while Caden was playing baseball for Auburn. One pickleball game, some ice cream, and a whole lot of laughter later… and that was it. Bailey knew he was the one the moment she saw him, and the rest, as they say, is history. Over the past three years, they've built a relationship rooted in joy and support. Even through long-distance seasons while Caden played baseball in Montana, Oklahoma, and Savannah, and Bailey continued her Masters' degree at Auburn. Now, as a professional baseball player traveling the U.S. with the Firefighters (a Banana Ball team), Caden keeps Bailey on her toes! But no matter where baseball takes him, she will always be his #1 fan! Bailey and Caden believe their love reflects the truth found in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
