Our Junior year of college, after having the flu, and one day after my fever of 103 broke, my friends convinced me into going to Panama City Beach, Florida for Spring Break. Three days into our trip, I walk into my friends condo on the beach. The first thing I see is this tall, tan, strong man making tilapia... So of course I walk up to him and ask if he needs any help ;) We chatted a little bit, and then it was time for me to go back to my condo and get ready for the night! I rushed to get ready in hopes that Brent would still be up in the other room. I walked in, in my white sundress & curly hair and let me tell you... I'm pretty sure his jaw hit the floor. Brent clearly wanted to make certain that he impressed me, because the first thing he said when I walked in was, "You wanna see a magic trick?". He then proceeded to pull out a deck of cards, and do some random magic trick (LOL). To be honest, it actually was super cool, but I'm not a huge "magic" fan. That didn't stop me from acting super interested and asking him to "teach me the trick", just to keep talking to him. :) Then comes my favorite part, he asked me to dance. So we swing danced in the middle of the room, in-front of everyone. Even though at that time he had a torn patella tendon, which thinking back, probably wasn’t a good idea. Our first dance ever was to "Back to life" by Rascal Flatts. It took one conversation and we were instantly best friends. Everything we've done together has been so fun and is such an adventure.
