What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Semi-Formal/Dressy Casual Men: dress shirt, blazer, (suit optional), khakis, etc. Women: Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, skirts, rompers, and dress pants

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking on site of the venue and free of charge!

Is there a registry?

Answer

The most important gift to us is having you share our special day. But shall you wish to give a gift to help us on our way, a donation to our honeyfund would really make our day.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but other than the few within the family that we’ve invited personally, we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 on our wedding day.

When and how can I RSVP?

Answer

All RSVP’s are to be done online and due by August 10, 2025. Please scan the QR code included on your invitation to bring you directly to the RSVP page or click on the “RSVP” tab in our drop down menu here on our website. * Please make sure you select a meal choice along with the RSVP for each invited guest who will be attending!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

Please read below for the plated dinner options. Option 1: 6-ounce Filet Mignon Finished in a Merlot & Fine Herbs Demi Glaze Accompanied by Mashed Potatoes & Green Beans *** Please inform your waitstaff if you prefer your filet be cooked beyond medium *** Option 2: Chicken Francaise Sautéed Chicken in Lemon Butter with Mushrooms in a White Wine Sauce Accompanied by Mashed Potatoes & Green Beans Option 3: Butternut Squash Ravioli Sweet Cream Sage Sauce * Please let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions in which you require an alternative meal option and we will follow up with our caterer to assure this is accommodated.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors in the courtyard (weather permitting), while cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors with air conditioning.

What is the address of the venue?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at the venue, Duo at the Dunes. This venue is fairly new and has not been updated on the gps. For directions to the venue, please type in The Italian American Community Center, located at 257 Washington Ave Ext, Albany, NY 12205.
