Our story started at WSU through mutual friends, where Clay made the first move. I quickly realized that behind the handsome face was the sweetest, most loyal guy I had ever met. Clay says he first fell for my bubbly personality and caring heart, and honestly, I fell for him just as fast. What started as a college relationship quickly became so much more. Somewhere between football weekends, late-night talks, and growing through life together, we became best friends. Being with Clay always felt easy, like I could completely be myself around him from the very beginning. One of the moments we both realized how serious our relationship had become was when Clay invited me to Florida for his cousin’s wedding. It was the first time I spent real time with his whole family, and I remember leaving that trip feeling so loved and so sure about us. Everything felt natural, comfortable, and exciting all at once. Honestly, falling in love with Clay was easy. He was my first serious relationship, and every year together has only made me more certain that he’s my person.
