We first met in 2nd grade when we were just seven years old—two kids who had no idea that they were meeting their future spouse. Through elementary and middle school, we were part of the same group of friends, sharing laughs, childhood memories, and the kind of innocence that only exists before life really begins. Then life did what it often does—it moved us in different directions. Years passed. Camden moved away. We lost touch. But fate, in its own quiet way, wasn’t done with us yet. Not long after high school, we reconnected—almost by accident, over a spontaneous Whataburger run. That “just catching up” moment turned into something more. We laughed like no time had passed. It felt easy. Familiar. Like coming home. That impromptu burger date became the first chapter of the next part of our story. We knew pretty quickly that this wasn’t just friendship rekindled. It was love—real, deep, and lasting. Still, we officially started dating on August 1st, 2022—fittingly, National Girlfriend Day. Two years later, on August 2nd, 2024, Camden proposed in the living room of our very first home together. It was simple, intimate, and exactly us. Today, we’ve built a life filled with love, laughter, three energetic dogs, and a new house we can’t wait to turn into a home.
