Mariana and I met on September 19th 2021 at Tranquility farm. Our first date was at De Novo. Looking into her hazel green eyes and telling myself that I think I found the one. We continue seeing each other and before no time I find myself picking out a diamond ring. It was April 21st, 2023 at Holland Tulip farm. My knees are weak, my palms are sweaty, lucky for me I didn't eat spaghetti. Picture after picture my heart races trying to find the words and timing. After a pep talk from my sister and brother-in-law I was determined to pop the question on the next row of tulips. I turned to her and slowly got down on one knee, I could see the slight confusion mixed with excitement in her. I let her know that I don't want her to have doubts or concerns and that I'd always be there for her. I asked her to be my one and only. There was a short pause that felt like a lifetime before she answered with tears in her eyes "yes" and little hops of joy.
