They met the first day of seventh grade, he was 13 and she was 12. Austin asked Taylor to be his girlfriend during their freshman year of High School when they were just 15. They were High School sweethearts. They have been together for 6 years; one could say it was about time he put a ring on it!

They had just gone out to dinner and were heading back to Austin's house for a family game night. Taylor had begged Austin to let her change out of her fancy dress and into some sweatpants, but he insisted they would only be there for a few minutes. They then pulled up to the entrance to Daisy Mountain, around the corner from Austin's house and Taylor was very confused. They got out of the car, Austin grabbed her hand, and they began to walk toward the lights strung between the trees. They followed a candlelit path to a blanket covered with flowers. It suddenly hit her, "this is for us!!!". Austin began to talk about how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Taylor and followed it with the big question. She was still in complete shock but managed to get out the word "YES!!!". Then they drove back to his house, and to her surprise all of their family and closest friends were there waiting to help them celebrate the best night of their lives thus far.
