We met briefly in July 2019 through mutual Texas A&M friends. We were lucky to both attend a friend's birthday dinner in August 2019 and that's where our story begins! We sat next to each other at dinner and talked the whole time. We had the best time salsa dancing after dinner, and had our first date not too long after that! We went to Sushi for our first date (my favorite) and took a walk on the harbor at sunset. We went back and forth from Rockwall to Dallas for 2 years and are so happy to be settled down in Dallas together. We enjoy hanging out with our friends, cooking together, and dancing together! And we love our little fur baby, Cali cat! We are looking forward to celebrating our marriage with our best friends and family! :)

Ali and I first met through mutual friends while we were out at a bar celebrating. I didn't have a chance to see her again until we went to a friend's birthday dinner where we sat next to each other all night. After a lot of fun and conversing, we all went to a nearby bar for some salsa dancing lessons. Somehow seeing my attempts at dancing didn't scare her off immediately. We ended up both leaving around the same time, so I offered to walk her to her car. Not knowing when I would see her again, I made sure to asked her for her number and to go on a date sometime soon. Thankfully she agreed! The first date went spectacularly, going out to a Hibachi place for sushi, and seeing the sunset down on the harbor. She even came back to my place for dessert. (Which was box brownies that we somehow struggled to make even though it's only 4 ingredients). Many more fantastic dates and mini-vacations later, we decided to make it official. A year and a half later, we made it officially-official down in Austin surrounded by friends. Was the happiest day of my life, but I have a feeling one day coming soon may top it. Now Ali and I live together in a cozy apartment with our cute but mischievous cat Cali. Most days are filled with working, cat-playtime, and hanging with great friends. It's all I could ever have asked for. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.
