Hotel Conneaut was built in 1903 and while it has been beautifully renovated, it does not have all the standard amenities of a modern-day hotel so please keep that in mind when choosing where to stay. If flying from Florida, the couple recommends flying into Pittsburgh International Airport. Allegiant Airlines offers direct flights on various days from Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), Punta Gorda Airport (PGD), St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) and Sanford/ Orlando (SFB). Please note, you will have to rent a car as the Pittsburgh International Airport is about an hour and forty minute drive from Hotel Conneaut.
