Question
What should I wear?
Answer
Our dress code is “Garden Party” and based around the color pallet of pastel pink, blue, purple, light grey, and navy blue. If you are planning to wear a dress (or formal romper or pant suit), aim for a pastel pink, blue, or purple mid/tea length dress (floral patterns based around these colors works too). Flowy and light dresses below the knee are ideal. If you are planning to wear a suit, aim for a light color pallet like a grey or blue suit, navy is also acceptable. No need to wear a suit jack if you don’t want to! Dress pants and a nice button up shirt will do. Our wedding is in mid-July, so be prepared for it to be hot!

How many people are attending the wedding?
Answer
We are allowed 30 guests at our venue. This means that not everyone we would love to be there will be able to be in attendance at our wedding venue on July 16th, 2022. Thankfully our wedding will be live-streamed at https://www.marriedlivestream.com/allison-brian . This means everyone who wants to share in our love and happiness on July 16th, 2022 can do so from the comfort of their own home. Our in-person wedding guest list is only the very close family and friends we have chosen to invite. If you did not receive an in-person digital wedding invitation but do want to attend our wedding virtually, please join us on July 16th, 2022 at this link: https://www.marriedlivestream.com/allison-brian

If I was not invited to attend the wedding in-person does that mean you don't love me?
Answer
Of course not! It was really, really difficult for us to pick ONLY 30 people. But, preferring an intimate micro-wedding, we had to make some tough choices. Our decisions were based on relationships, proximity, and availability. There are many, many people we would have loved to invite in person, but due to space, were unable.

How does virtually attending the wedding work?
Answer
On July 16th, 2022, simply go to https://www.marriedlivestream.com/allison-brian and scroll down until you see the "marriedlivestream" video box and click play on the video. It is being live-streamed using Youtube's services. The live-stream will begin promptly at 11:00am on July 16th, 2022. We hope you will join us in celebrating our love and commitment to one another.

Do I need to follow the dress code to attend virtually?
Answer
Not at all! You can even wear your PJ's if you'd like! You won't be recorded or anything, you'll just be viewing our live-stream so no need to get all dressed up if you don't want to.
Question
What's a micro-wedding?
Answer
Micro weddings are for couples who still want a traditional wedding ceremony with a reception, but only plan to invite a small number of guests. Our wedding including our ceremony, micro-reception, and photo sessions will be an hour and a half (90 minutes) from start to finish. Our micro-reception will include a few special dances, cake, beverages, and a few toasts. Thats it!

Do I get a plus one?
Answer
No. As stated in previous FAQs we are limited to 30 guests to attend in person. This means if you received an in person wedding invite, you are one of those 30 people.
