Texas-style BBQ in a modern and fun space that is delicious and affordable. This is the spot of our first official date. Go for the good food (definitely try the brisket!) and the drinks (the dickel-back!). Take a walk around downtown after.
Spanish inspired small plates restaurant in the heart of Lawrenceville. Highly recommend a reservation. Try the oxtail croqueta and the sangria! If you are looking for a place to grab a cocktail before or after, head to the Grapperia a few blocks away.
This one is a little tough to find (intentionally). Speakeasy bar. No food, but great cocktails.
One of our favorite local breweries. Known for their IPAs and food trucks around the establishment.
On Saturdays and Sundays the Strip District is bustling with people shopping for local produce and visiting tons of different vendors (food, clothing, souvenirs). If you don't want to try food from one of the vendors, Smallman Galley is a great spot any time of day (brunch, lunch, dinner) - featuring multiple different restaurants in one location, it is great for a group.
Take in beautiful city views from the Overlook. You can ride the Incline up, or just drive up the mountain to see the city from above. Then, head down Shiloh Street where you will find some restaurants and bars. We recommend The Summit, a casual cocktail bar (one of the best old fashioneds in the city) with very knowledgeable bartenders and board games you can borrow.
