In true millennial fashion, we met on Raya in October of 2019. After a couple of days of nonstop texting, we met for sushi at Bond St. in Manhattan, it was love at first sight and we talked about emo music and cars all night. On our second date, we were walking down the sidewalk in Williamsburg with our arms around each other gazing into each other's eyes like a couple of love-struck teenagers when Matt tripped over an iron edging fence around a tree and pulled us both face first onto the pavement, we have matching scars and tattoos that read “If we go down we go down together” from Taking Back Sunday’s ‘There’s No ‘I’ in Team’, which brings us to our next date...a Taking Back Sunday concert. Matt proposed on our one-year anniversary after playing a cover he recorded of “our song” - “Scared to Death” by HIM. We can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives falling more in love with each other every day and we can’t wait to begin this next chapter of it with our closest friends and family.
