oh shit.

In the spring of 2010 Page was working as a barista at Julia's Bakery in Wallingford. One day Devin came by the bakery to say hello to a friend from high school who was Page's co-worker. Page's flirtation began immediately. After meeting, she found him on Facebook, and went to extreme lengths to capture his attention. She found out he performed comedy and would drag her friends along to his shows hoping for a conversation afterwards. At one point she even painted a portrait of him (CRINGE). Eventually Devin agreed to go on a date with Page. They made things official on the 4th of July, 2010 sharing a kiss under the light of the fireworks at Gasworks Park. On the way home they picked up a Seattle late-night favorite, Dick's Drive-In burgers and fries. On the couch in her apartment Page made a joke, applying tartar sauce to her lips with a french fry and beckoning for a kiss. Little did she know, this moment is what sealed the deal in Devin's mind, "this girl gets me." 8 years, 2 cats, and 7 seasons of Game of Thrones later, they are still making each other laugh. They got engaged in May of 2017. Apparently Devin had bought the ring months earlier but was struggling with when and how to propose. He ended up bending the knee on a random Saturday, after a mimosa-and-laughter-filled brunch. They were in the apartment that they had shared for 4 years, and where Page had lived for 6.
