Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception is located at Pocohantas State Park in Chesterfield, VA. It is 30 minutes outside of Richmond, VA.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Use the main address for Pocahontas State Park: 10301 State Park Rd., Chesterfield, VA 23832. Once inside the park, follow the signs for the banquet hall, which is located within the Algonquian Ecology Camp area. The hall is approximately one mile down East State Park Road from the main entrance.

There are a few hotel options on the Travel section, however, hotels in the Richmond area are about 20-30 minutes away from the venue.

Do I need to pay the $7.00 parking fee?

Answer

No, you do not need to pay the parking fee if attending as a guest for the wedding.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Yes! We encourage you to take as many photos as you want! In lieu of a photographer, we are using Wedibox, so our guests can upload as many pictures as they want! QR codes will be spread through out the tables to upload and here is the link: https://www.wedibox.com/w/recsX1qSPsLaKGOU

What Should I Wear?

Answer

This event is indoors and casual. You can wear jeans and a nice shirt, spring dresses, etc. Virginia is the land of unpredictable weather, so a light sweater or jacket is recommended!
