Across the 3rd street bridge from Hotel Julien, a scenic walk along the water. Pro tip: stop at the winery at the end of the walk!
Eagle Point Park
Best views of the Mississippi and the lock and dam. Pro tip: stop at the old school Dairy Queen at the bottom of the park!

Dive bar steps away from the Hotel Julien. Best visited after a couple drinks and with an appetite. Burgers are great, kitchen closes at midnight.
4th Street Elevator
The 4th Street elevator is fun historical site in downtown Dubuque. A cable car will take you to the top of the bluff where you will have a great view of downtown Dubuque, the Mississippi river, and both bridges that lead to Wisconsin and Illinois.
