Things To Do

Below are a couple of things to do in LA. If you want more suggestions, hit us up! As far as food, LA is definitely a "foodie" city. Some of our favorites: Republique - best breakfast in LA and a full bar of French pastries Homestate - Texas style breakfast tacos and queso Hae Jang Chon - All you can eat Korean BBQ Raffi's - Persian (It's Mr. Amini approved!) Guisados - Mexican street tacos Umami Burger - Burgers and great beers Bludso's - BBQ Dino's - pizza delivery in Burbank

Disneyland

1313 Disneyland Dr., Anaheim, CA 92802

Celebrate our love of movies, music, and snacks. This is the perfect time of year for short lines and good weather. The corn dogs are a must!

Universal Studios Hollywood

100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608
, (800) 864-8377

Harry Potter! Simpsons! Jurassic Park! Minions..! And all 10 minutes from our house!

Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden

301 North Baldwin Avenue, Arcadia, CA 91007
, (626) 821-3222

Sara's favorite place in the city. AND (best part) it's a peacock conservation! Literally peacocks just walk by you as your stroll the grounds.

Griffith Observatory

2800 E Observatory Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90027

Scenic views of the city, the observatory itself is free to enter as are the grounds. Great photo opp of the Hollywood sign. Hiking trails are excellent. And this is where Alex proposed!

Venice Beach

1800 Ocean Front Walk, Venice, CA 90291

The Abbot Kinney strip has great food and shopping, the Venice canals are cool to check out as well. If you'd like a cleaner beach there's Malibu and Manhattan Beach as well. Just don't go to Santa Monica (shudders).

The Grove

189 The Grove Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90036
, (323) 900-8080

LA staple for food and shopping. Check out the Farmers Market connected to the Grove for great diverse dining options. Alex tip: "Bob's Donuts. Best in LA. I saw Jay-Z there once."

Los Angeles County Museum of Art

5905 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90036
, (323) 857-6000

Art museum right in the middle of the city, between Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Less than 5 minutes from the Grove if you want to make a day of it.

Hollywood Walk Of Fame

6925 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028
, (323) 469-8311

Yes, it's a tourist trap. But it's fun to check out Grauman's if you haven't, and see where the Oscars are held. Jimmy Kimmel is across the street too if you'd like to check out a taping! Alex tip: "Watch out for urine."

For all the days along the way
