ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION AT THE SAME LOCATION?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will take place at different venues, both located in downtown Cape. We'll exchange vows at 2 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, followed by a cocktail hour beginning at 5 pm at Buckner Ragsdale Event Center. Looking for ways to spend the time in between? What is the dress code?

We're thrilled to celebrate with you in style! Our dress code is Formal Attire, so we invite you to dress accordingly. Ladies, we encourage you to wear a dress, two-piece set, or anything that makes you feel fabulous! Gentlemen, a suit would be perfect for the event.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding celebration will be an adults-only event, with the exception of those in the wedding party. We kindly ask for your understanding and hope you'll take this opportunity to enjoy a special evening out together.

Due to venue constraints, we can only welcome guests who are individually named on your formal invitation. We appreciate your understanding during this intimate celebration.

Absolutely! We will have a wide variety of liquor, mixers, beer, and wine to choose from, and several excellent bartenders. We can’t wait to raise a glass and celebrate with you!

Guests can respond directly through the RSVP tab on our wedding website. If you anticipate being unable to attend, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, convenient parking options are available for both our ceremony and reception venues. Trinity Lutheran Church offers on-site parking, and two public parking lots are located near Buckner Ragsdale Event Center. To ensure a smooth arrival, we recommend guests staying at nearby hotels consider using rideshare services like Uber for the reception, especially during peak times when parking might be limited.
