Can I RSVP online or should I mail the response card?

Answer

Either are fine! We love a classic mail-in response, but if online is easier, that works, too! Please remember, if mailing in the card, to include your name and the number of guests attending! Respectfully, we have reserved seats only for the names that are printed on the inside envelope of your invitation.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our celebration will be Black Tie Optional - What does this mean, you ask? - For Women - Floor length gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or a dressy pantsuit also works! - For Men - A tuxedo is welcome but not required; a dark suit (black, charcoal, or navy) with a crisp shirt, tie, and dress shoes is absolutely appropriate.

Can I bring a plus one?

We’d love to celebrate with all of our favorite people! Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We wish we could include all of the kids, truly! Unfortunately, space does not allow and we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We hope this gives you the chance to enjoy a fun evening out!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating before the celebration begins.

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Ravenswood is a beautiful 1825 Antebellum Mansion that sits on a breathtaking 400 acres. The house holds approximately 80 people at a time, so cocktail hour will take place inside, on the porches and the surrounding grounds. During the reception, we will move into the tent for dinner and dancing!

What is parking like at Ravenswood?

Answer

There is a large parking lot very close to the venue with steps going up to the house. There is also a circle drive where guests can be dropped off right at the door.

Answer

We’ve reserved room blocks at 3 different hotels for your convenience. You can find all the info on our Hotels page!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will kick off the wedding weekend (weather permitting) on Friday evening at Arrington Vineyard. This is a casual, family-friendly event for friends near and far! A selection of Arrington's wines and specialty drinks, as well as picnic style food will be available for purchase. FOR OUR OUT OF TOWN GUESTS - We are so grateful you have chosen to travel and come celebrate with us! We would love for you to join the Welcome Reception at St. Ignatius Hall on Saturday evening.
