We met through a mutual friend, my best friend and his coworker. We didn't start dating as soon as we met, we were friends for just about a year. We stayed close friends through Hailey's senior year of high school and Mitchell's junior year. Once Hailey graduated Mitchell started taking Hailey out on dates that she really did not know they were dates. But within time, they started officially dating in the summer of 2017. Throughout the first year we did long distance with me being away at school, but soon after we went to Aurora University together where we went to college together. Fast forward to today, where we live together and take care of our dog Max.

As many of you know, the both of us are avid concert goers. We have been to countless concerts over the years that we have been together. We were set to go see 5 Seconds of Summer in Arizona in mid-September, but in a spur of the moment decided to go see them when they came to Chicago. During one of the last songs, Mitchell proposed during "She Looks So Perfect" and then we were engaged!
