Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

At Moon Palace Cancun, a massive all-inclusive resort spanning 123 acres with 7 pools, 17 restaurants, and 13 bars across two connected sections: Sunrise (where our room block is) and Nizuc. It is a gated, secure resort. Don’t forget, you will need a valid passport to travel!

Do I have to stay at Moon Palace to attend the wedding?

Answer

Yes. The resort requires all wedding guests to book through our block and stay on-site for private events. Everything is at the resort — no need to leave unless you want to explore! Your stay at Sunrise gives you full access to everything at Nizuc (right next door) plus sister properties Beach Palace and Sun Palace (adults-only) which is about 15 minutes away and advance reservations are required through the app.

How do we book at Moon Palace?

Answer

All guests MUST book through our wedding block to attend the private wedding events. The link to the block is under the travel section on our website and on the back of your wedding details card. Book as soon as possible — rooms are limited and fill quickly! When booking, there is an option to pay now or pay 30 days prior to your reservation. NOTE: The room block closes out for bookings on July 6th! You will be able to make changes to an existing reservation until 30 days prior to the wedding.

How many nights should we stay?

Answer

There will be a few fun pre-wedding activities and events you won’t want to miss! Many will be staying longer than 4 nights however there are booking perks for 4+ nights through the block: * Complimentary round-trip airport transfers (register at least 48 hours in advance at https://transfers.palaceresorts.com) * $500 resort credit per room (usable on spa, golf, tours, special dinners, etc. — 16% service fee applies) * 40% off golf (cannot combine with resort credit) * 15% off spa (cannot combine with resort credit)

YES — 100% all-inclusive!
Unlimited food, drinks (including premium), 24-hour room service, entertainment, and most activities at Sunrise, Nizuc, Beach Palace, and Sun Palace. Tipping is optional but always appreciated ($1–5 USD per service). U.S. dollars are accepted everywhere; credit cards and pesos too. ATMs on-site.

How far is the resort from Cancun International Airport?

Answer

Cancun International Airport (CUN) is only 15-20 minutes from Moon Palace (about 12 km / 7 miles) — super convenient!

Are the wedding events indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events are outdoors. Weather this time of year is usually hot and humid, but don’t worry there will be lots of cold drinks and fans to cool off.
