We're getting married!

It was Cassie's first day at Mamacita's restaurant where she worked as a server. Every time she had a job, making friends was nerve wrecking, but the moment she laid eyes on Chris, she knew she wanted to get to know him some more. However, as stubborn as Cassie can be sometimes, she was too shy to introduce herself and decided to wait. As the first day goes by, there's no introduction from Chris. The next day comes, and still no "hello" or "nice to meet you". FINALLY, the third day came around, and as he's about to walk off with a tray of food, he comes by and says, "hi! Oh by the way, I'm Chris". Cassie thought it was the funniest thing and instantly admired his sense of humor from day one! We hit it off so well and began dating for about a month. From going out to dinner and having picnics together to heading to the movies or floating the river-- the dates kept on rolling one after another! April 30th came around, and Chris popped the question and asked Cassie to be his girlfriend! We've made so many memories since then and have always loved each other through thick and thin. Both of us give all thanks to God for strengthening our relationship because a God-centered relationship is what has made our love for each other stronger. Here's to forever!

Cassie had a feeling this day would come but wasn't too sure when. Chris kept on asking a lot of fishy questions around Christmas time like "do you like to wear bracelets?" and "what is your ring size?" and so on. As soon as the ring question popped up, the only thing Cassie could imagine is Chris proposing to her! New Years Eve came around, and we got together with a portion of Cassie's side of the family. He seemed a bit nervous at some points and constantly reminded Cassie how much he loved her. Cassie noticed Chris disappearing a lot throughout the night but didn't think much of it. Little did she know he came up with a plan to have uncle Fernando grab everyone's attention at the strike of midnight for a "speech". As midnight approaches, fireworks are booming and everyone is hugging each other shouting "Happy New Year"! Uncle Fernando claims he had a special announcement to make and quiets everyone down. Next thing you know, Chris is on one knee as nervous as can be. Cassie, on the other hand, is over here thinking, "Is my hair okay? Is my outfit picture-ready?" "No flash please!" Of course she said "YES" with the biggest smile on her face! Everyone is cheering, and it couldn't have been more perfect. What a wonderful way to start 2019! We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Kyle, Texas!
