We met on Tinder five years ago and quickly discovered we had both attended the same small high school. Proof that timing matters! Early in our relationship, we navigated long distance while building our careers, making the most of the limited time we had together. After a year, we moved in together and continued supporting each other through new opportunities and milestones. In 2024, we settled into our home in Independence, embracing the ups and downs of first-time homeownership and chickens. Austin proposed on December 14, 2024, and while planning our July 2026 wedding, we found out that we’re expecting our first baby in September 2026! This shifted our plans in the most meaningful way. We eloped with family in Joshua Tree on March 14, 2026, and now look forward to celebrating this exciting new chapter of our growing family with the people we love.
